Anaiya Stanback

Barber and owner

Fades, tapers and textured hair, booked one client at a time.

Anaiya Stanback cuts in Suite 8 on Wealthy Street: one chair, one barber, one client at a time. The room is quiet enough to talk, and nobody is waiting behind you.

She cuts fades and tapers, waves, coils, twists and curls, on men, women and teens. Tell her how you wear your hair and she shows you what the cut can do before the clippers come on.

What to bring to a first visit

  • A photo of the cut you want, on your phone or printed
  • How you wear your hair day to day: brushed, covered at night, twisted, picked out
  • The products you use at home, if you know them
  • Five minutes before your time, to find Suite 8 and sit down
  • Barber license · MI Lic. 000000

Hair she cuts

Waves, coils, twists and locs

Tell her how you wear it, and she cuts to that.

  • Waves

Faded sides, a sharp line and a cut that keeps the pattern running the way you brush it. Say how you cover it at night.

  • Coils

Fades and tapers on tight coils, cut with the grain and shaped with a comb or a pick. The length on top stays where you want it.

  • Twists

Trims for two-strand twists, flat twists and twist-outs: ends evened, edges tidied, length left alone.

Cubby is by appointment only. Book a time online, or text (616) 555-0103 and Anaiya will find one.

Can you cut my hair type?

Waves, coils, curls, twists and straight hair. Tell her how you wear it when you book or at the chair.

Who do you cut?

Men, women and teens. Every head of hair is welcome, and a service is named for what is done, not for who it is for.
